Review Transcript: Listen Word by Word and Fix Mistakes Before You Generate
Even the best transcription mishears a name or a brand now and then. Review Transcript (Captyne 1.5.8 and later) lets you listen to the clip word by word and fix those mistakes before any caption layer is built.
Open Review Transcript
On the Setup tab, keep Open after transcribing switched on under Review Transcript. After every transcription, the review opens with your audio loaded.

Good to know
- Your fixes keep their timing: each word still appears when it is spoken.
- Capital letters you type are kept exactly as typed, for example "iPhone" or "WOW".
- Fixes are saved with your project. See Your captions are saved with your project.
- If you transcribe the same clip again, Captyne keeps the capitalisation you changed.
